July and August seem to be the worst months for silver prices, so they would be the best time to be buying. It'll be interesting to see if that generality holds up this summer.

That would be a problem for sellers. Buyers should be liking this.

It just seems lately I am buying the day before the price decreases! I guess all will be fine if Silver goes up a lot and I guess if it doesn't, that means our currency is stronger. I also have invested in nickels for their intrinsic value at a face value cost so really no cost and have gotten a few silver ones to boot!

Gotta keep thinking long term. I know when I first bought metals I was a nervous wreck because I looked at prices several times a day. Don't get obsessed with prices. Buy what you can, when you can and hold on for a while. This is not a quick turnaround investment in most cases. Just remember,if you haven't sold it,you haven't lost anything. Check prices for substantial moves and have a sound exit strategy, not a panic one,and you will be fine. There are still legs on this bull!

I am with Hock, no need to look at those numbers 6 times a day. I take the grizzly bear approach, meaning if silver and gold fell to 4 bucks an oz. or 500 an oz., I will simply hibernate until it goes back up again....

However, of course this presents a nice buying opportunity here. And call me crazy, but silver has been kind of predictable lately, meaning it climbs to 38 or 39, and the bottom falls back out to $34.95 and then catches support and starts back up again. It may do this all summer, so wait til it hits the low 35's and snipe away. I truly believe if one tries to wait until it hits 30 bucks, they may never get a chance to buy any ever again....

We may not see $1500 gold again either for a long time. As I say,buy what you can when you can and hang on. I think the fun is just beginning!

I predict silver will plummet around August 2nd, once the debt ceiling gets resolved.

I have to disagree. There is too much stuff going on worldwide. Gold will continue to climb and silver will follow. There may be some small dips but I think a steady climb seems almost inevitable. I bought all my silver at $20 or less so I am just sitting tight!

^ I am with you on that, SilverCoinBoi. I am probably younger than most here but I am in my late twenties. I didn't have the chance to hoard silver when it was around!
