DING DING DING! docsfishn has correctly answered question 3! They use a complicated scoring system that grades each play from scrimmage. This year the offense won the Maroon and White game 133-119.

By the way, to all the winners, these coins are not pretty, but think of them as a $2.00 gift certificate to your favorite coin store. It won't hurt my feelings if you trade or sell these to get something you like more. (But the way silver is going, these nickels may be worth $5 by tomorrow noon! ;)

Just got my War Nickel and buffalo. Luckily the buffalo date is still barely there: a 1929. thanks a lot for the contest and the coins specksynder! yeah, like you said, they may not be the hottest coins on the block, but I still really like them, and would not even think of giving or selling them away because they were a nice gift that were generously given to me by a fellow CCF member. Woo-Hoo!   My nickels arrived today. The 1944S I can actually use in my whitman folder from when I was a kid, and the Buffalo nickel I think I will try to carve a Hobo!   It was alot of fun waiting for them to come in the mail! Thank you very much specksnyder!  |
