Guesss whaaaat.....yep, the nickel has arrived safely in Mexico. But not before causing a "antrax" type scare in a mail room in the US. (seriously)
Thank you thank you thank you! This has actually been QUITE a conversation piece. People ask my why it's so special and I am able to explain it's attibutes...grade, steps, mint origin etc. It has been more successful at generating educational numismatic conversation than the freebies that I keep on hand to give away. Sigh...if I had only known what it took to get people curious in the first place! Oh well.
Again, great giveaway!!
BTW this is now, with out a doubt the best nickel I have ever had!

Nice nick Harrison! That really resembles a special matte 1994 or 1997 reverse, or better yet, the satin finish mint set return to Monticello of 2006. That nickelsearcher feller sure was nice with those nickels wasn't he? A community pillar! Thanks nickelsearcher, for the generosity toward the members with your "Jefferosity"! Not yet found in Glossary under J JefferosityThe unselfish act of giving away "keeper" Jefferson nickels for other collectors to enjoy and treasure while expecting nothing in return.

Hahhahaa...that's great! I love it...Jefferosity. Can that be applied to other facets of numismatics? ;)

Nope, only works with Jefferson nickels, two dollar bills, certain Presidential dollars, maybe a commemorative dollar and some tokens out there plus maybe stamps but that might be about it.
