I'm trying to build a PCGS Registry set of Morgan dollars with Major Varieties, and just purchased this 1880-CC Morgan today. It's housed in a PCGS graded holder, but I was wondering if it may be any of the major 1880-CC Varieties? (8/High 7, 8/Low 7) Looks like a Reverse of 1879, so definitely not either of the Reverse of 1878 Varieties. I do see a relatively prominent die chip under the second 8.

I believe it's a VAM-8 (8/7 Dash). Hard to see in the photos, but see if you can find all the markers for this variety.

I'm with Zurie on the VAM-8, the dash is a giveaway and the progression looks good for 8 as opposed to the other VAMs that share this obverse. Nice looking Lady!
