Is this the Mercury dime thread or spinning into all of the 1916 / 2016 / 2026 reissues?

I got my quarter today.

I had to leave it at work as I was not going to leave it in my vehicle while I was at our clubs monthly meeting.

As an aside anyone ever see a Carnegie Hero medal in person?

There was one here tonight at the club meeting.

Got my set this morning. The medal is just fantastic. Shame it cannot be a coin.

I can only speculate how much is the dollar gold and silver medal will cost once its make available to public. There's no mintage limit how many this set will be made in August.

I assumed they were going to be 30k made or less for each set. Was there not a mintage limit to all of them?

The medals that come with the dime seem to be selling for an average of $350

All right, I was a little late on the trigger when the dime set was released and, while I was able to place an order, I was told that it was on backorder with a release date of September 2. Well, yesterday was September 2, and I did indeed get a notice that my credit card had just been charged and the Mint website is now showing my order as "processing."

And to think I came this close to paying $100 or more extra to buy a set on ebay...

[As an aside, I find it interesting that, while the coin set is finally available to fulfill my order, it is listed as unavailable on the website, whereas the other three sets released so far are still available for purchase. I wonder if it's simply because of the cost difference and a lot more people could afford to pay $800 as opposed to $1600, $3000 or $5600.]

Thank you for the update.

I agree, this being the more affordable set had the best (and so far only) chance for a sell-out.
