Went to the coin shop and filled the 1927 S SLQ in my set. Also moved my ASE's over to a Dansco.

This makes 1,951 unique coins filled in my quest for every US Coin

What grade and how much did you pay?

I'm curious what a 1927S would go for retail in a store vs the hundreds of them listed weekly on ebay.

I lucked out and got this one for $21 shipped a few weeks ago on ebay as the seller listed it in the title as just a plain 1927 quarter but in the description he went into detail about the scarcity of the 1927S. I guess he wasn't to good in the ebay marketing department. I would guess ths one is at least G6 if not VG based on comparison with other slabbed ones listed.

Thanks Moe, this is a milestone in a couple of ways, fills the last 1927 hole for all my denominations 1c-$1.

Here she is, not high grade or anything, but respectable.
