I was at the local Pawn Shop looking for coins (its a coin shop too) and they had a glass cabinet that was labeled "Everything in here is $10.00". I saw the 1970 UNC Mint Set and remembered reading that one of the coins in it was a key date (1970D Half was not circulated only 2,000,000 minted). I picked it up the set for $10 bucks.
Think I did good?
I also got a full book from 1941-75 Cents and most of them are MS for $10.00
Also they had many other sets in the "$10 Cabinet"....most are from the 90's and 80's...but a few mid 70's. I have never collected mint sets before...any I should look for and grab up for $10?
The 1987 sets are mint set only for the half dollars, the 1986 set was a low mintage and was considered a key set for a long time. Probably anything after 95 might be good.
