So before I went to work yesterday I stopped in to the coffee shop of champions and got a double espresso. It was $2.07 so I handed her $3.00 bucks cause I wanted to see what I could get. Low and behold I got a 1953-d Jefferson nickel.

Ok so it isn't rare but it is so cool getting older nickels in circulation.

What have others been getting?

Well my boyfriend is the nickel collector he found a War Nickel not long ago. He did have a funny experience the other day, we live in Ohio, and have drive through stores, idk if anyone knows what they are but there like gas stations you drive in. Anyway, he works for a chain of them and he was at the register and a customer comes through and pays in all change, so being a coin collector he glanced at what was handed to him, saw these egales on the front of bronze coins and thought wows what is that, turns outthey where tokens for a car wash down the street, he was really excited for about 5 seconds, :) I told him we should complain to the car wash and explain its nice to play tricks on the coin collectors!

District of Columbia quarter dollar in change yesterday. Not a big score, but worth chucking into the keeper bucket in the closet.

A few months ago I got a 1952 quarter in change. Funny thing is I don't know where I got it because I didn't notice it when I received the change. It was only later when I was at home emptying out my pockets that I noticed it.
