So, I decided that I really wanted to get the State Quarter of the state I live in. The wonderful Tennessee! So I wanted to get the silver proof, and I ran into this beauty at the last few minutes and snagged this for 10.50 plus 3 shipping. I think the shipping was a bit high, but I am going to ask him about that. Anyway what do you guys think?!?

Since you love it then good buy. The shipping is a bit high and would have kept me away, but then again the fact that it is slabbed is nice.

$3.00 shipping for a slabbed coin is not a real killer. Figure the postage alone is going to be about half that if he uses a box, and a little less if a padded envelope. He needs to have supplies on hand like packing peanuts etc.

My thing is I really don't like cameo finishes! I know some people love them but I think it detracts from the image, especially the portrait of Washington. I have a few Kennedy's with cameo finishes on them and am tempted to spend them...

My collection habits run toward circulation issues anyway, but if I am gonna get a proof I prefer the shiny portrait and details. Just a personal preference here!

Thanks guys, I dont know really what caught my eye but I just loved the coin. I really like the 50 states quarter series. I think it is a very collectable and enjoyed series. I am also looking at http://www.ebay.com/itm/28078269591...2210wt_1185. I really want this coin because I collect lincoln wheats so I thought it was appropriate!
