ATB Five Ounce Silver Coins

After being unavailable for almost a month, there are 99+ of the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park 2020 Uncirculated Five Ounce Silver Coin available again:

Silver was about the same price 10 years ago, yet the mint issued pucks went from $150 to $380..lol

Apologies for dredging this topic up but I feel like it's a decent revisit, particularly with jbuck's most recent comment:




That and with current silver spot, and that it's been just over 5 years since the last Proof puck was issued (Tuskegee), it's a good time.

Speaking of stacking, I never thought of this collection of Proof ATB pucks a stack by any means. I stack other silver but the US Mint premiums on these didn't makes sense for stacking.

However, given current silver prices, has anyone besides me started to consider their collection of Proof 3-inch ATB pucks a stack? Not gonna lie, when Ag was $100+, it was tempting.

Given the fun I had collecting them over the years and contributing to this topic, that would be a tough transition for me. But hey, the memories (or at least my spreadsheet) would still would be there, and that physical silver could be converted into a lot of useful things in the here and now.

Just thinking out loud I suppose. Has anyone else liquidated their P-Pucks? Or thought about it, at least?

I wish I had started buying these 'back-in-the-day' but now it is probably a bit too late to start.

Wouldn't surprise me either.

That then begs the question, does that potentially increase numismatic value towards silver spot as they get more scarce? Pretty sure that question has been posed elsewhere.
