Dang. I thought my Jefferson nickel collection was complete except for a Hennings, but now I need the Dahlonga mint coins.

He is definitely just a idiot, the Dahlonga mint closed way way way before 1980 (the last coin minted there was in 1861) so it is impossible for this to be minted there. I believe he is the "amateur" in that transaction he made. He just got a Denver 1980 nickel thinking it was something special
