Looks like a 1800 Draped Bust coin, but the hair looks odd. Maybe its a fantasy piece
What is the coin's size?

If it is real, probably about 2500. However, it looks cast to me. I could be wrong...photos are pretty small.

The size points toward a half dollar. The stars on the front are too small, and they didn't mint a half dollar in 1800

1.45 inches = 36.83 mm
Bust half = 32.5 mm
Bust dollar = 39-40 mm

Can you get the weight in grams?
Bust half = 13.5 grams
Bust dollar = 27 grams

I was trying to find a value for the coin and came across a thread on CoinTalk about an 1800 DB dollar. Is it that one ?

Believe I found the thread you are talking about, posted 1/20/2012? The pictures are different than those above.

Yeah, they are. The one in this thread looks really cleaned or an aluminum like somebody said.

I think it is a modern chinese counterfeit. Probably worth at most a few dollars as a novelty piece.

It is not worth much because it is, unfortunately, not a genuine coin. Here is a link to a fairly recent thread and a post I made with a picture of this coin and a genuine coin.

Yep I figured it looked like a cast fake. One more thing; In my opinion fakes shouldn't be kept around as "novelties" they could end up fooling somebody else down the road. Best to destroy it. Pictures should be kept as a record. Don't know if anybody keeps a fake coin report on this site like they do for ancients over at FORVM but if not it would be a good idea.
