1998 LMC What Causes This?

Just wondering what causes this type of error. It sort of looks like the die turned as it struck. There are a couple of die small die chips in the field above the date other than that it is just a circulated coin.

Looks like a combo of Die Deterioration and maybe a trail die.

There are three 1998 P that look somewhat like yours.You should check them out and compare mrakers.

At first glance it is similiar to the 1998P-1DEO-OO6T. I will try to work with the camera and get a full view of the coin with some markers on it, won't happen until tomorrow though.
