I know the pictures aren't great, (the coin is lighter than in the pictures, but some of the lighter picutres I had made it look washed out). What are your thoughts on the grade?

I should have mentioned originally that this coin is certified, (NGC). I'll let others weigh in and then reveal the grade tomorrow afternoon.

I see an AU55-58 coin. Points that strike me are headdress detail and particularly the rub/wear at the very front of the eagle's wing. Given that the pics aren't perfect, I won't be surprised to see it in an MS slab.

Good job guys!!

It grades NGC AU-58. The headdress detail appears complete when the coin is in hand. However in hand there does appear to be a slight rub on the inside of the wing near the breast.
