All circulating coins feature a portrait of the reigning British monarch on the obverse. Queen Victoria 1870 - 1901 the 1,5,10 and 20 cent coins were also minted with the date 1858 King Edward VII 1902 - 1910 King George V 1911 - 1936 King George VI 1937 - 1952 Queen Elizabeth II 1953 to the present The silver dollar coin was introduced in 1935 as a commemorative and was produced as a circulating coin until 1967 with the exception of the war years 1940-44.
