1957-D Doubled Die Obverse / DDO . Need Help Identifying

The MM should not be doubled, as it is hand-stamped into the die. Yet the MM is doubled. Doesn't look like your classic Machine Doubling; waiting for others to chime in. Report this Post to the Staff

Also, what is that clear separation on the inner right side of where the curved portion of the 9 begins? To me it doesn't look like MD or a hit. Thanks for the help.
