Heres a few regular Jefferson nickels we've got, both from the year 1938, one is S mint marked, the other D.

They were along with all the other coins in the box, so I'm letting you guys see first hand, not sure if they are special in anyway, probably not but let us know if you guys know any interesting facts on these two, value and or grading standards in your opinion. aLL and every input is welcomed!! thanks a bunch! Both 1938-D and 1938-S are key dates - cool find! I'd say around VF20 to VF30 grade (going by Photograde at least).
Numismedia says they're worth $1.38 and $1.86 respectively in VF20, so maybe $1.5 and $2 in your condition. Still a cool find

Couple of things that might help you get more responses:

Post this in the 'Modern US coins' forum, because this is condsidered Modern, not Classic.

Take half a second and rotate the pics. Most people won't bother trying to turn their heads
to view details if you don't think enough to orient the pics properly.

The 38 D looks to be VF.30 with rim damage, the 38 S looks to be XF.40
