In the U. S. coin category it is considered bullion , not a rarity.
In the Love Token category it has rarity due to the fact Love Tokens are usually found on smaller denominations. Another note of interest is the European style engraving. Day/Month/year. Enjoy

Very interesting coin. Thanks so much for posting it. Part of me is sad that this coin has been engraved upon, but I have to say it is very tastefully done and attractive.

Agreed, it is sad Susan. But for me it adds a bit of mystery to the piece. When I started collecting I swore no holed or engraved pieces in my collection. Funny how a collectors interest changes, or is it a collectors scope of interest that changes. Tuff question.
