Just looking for some first hand input on these coin tubes

http://colonialacres.com/products.php?cat=463

Who's used them? Will the plastic damage the coins? I assume each tube can hold one mint roll?

Cheers,

I have similar ones that I bought for junk (Canadian) silver dollars, I think they were for American Silver Eagles (Because they are so wide) but I got two of them on ebay for $2.00 and free shipping, so it doesn't bother me.

They are good tubes.

I have got those same ones,I put all the extra years in them and then put those into an empty coin box you get from the bank. Must have 8 or 9 boxes full.

Hey,
I used these for all my extra coins after I go through a mint roll. They work perfectly and dont see them damaging the coin at all. They do hold about 1 mint roll (I say about because old coins from the pre 90's seem to only old 46-48 coins because of the thickness difference).

I have some for each denomination. The plastic is fine and won't damage the coins. They're convenient and easy to stack into a box. Have to keep track of what you put where though or it can take a while to find something again. I only use them for common and junk coins though so I don't need to worry about damage. I was just thinking yesterday that to use them for higher quality coins I'd probably want to separate the coins with bits of paper or something....
