I wish our mint stepped out of the box a bit more. Anyways, I was looking at the Maple Leaf Forever coin http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/maple...Dc1MjIyNDkS1 I was thinking of adding it to my collection, but I wanted to check first: it says 99.99% pure silver. Does anyone know, is it the entire coin, coating and core? Or it is a small 99.99% silver coating, with a 90% copper core? How much silver in the coin would I be getting? Just a random thought I had. There used to be a company here in the US that would play with the metal composition to make it seem like there was more precious metal than there was. There was also a company that I almost bought from that said 99.99% silver... and in the fine print it showed they were only talking about the coating. The core was nickel (and it was a big coin).
