Banknotelover, do you mind if I asked how much you paid for that beauty, I only ask because I have one graded the same and it's always good to know how much similar coins are selling for.

I paid $1500 for it, which I thought was the right price for such a coin.

Thanks ! I have a few of the Centenary Florins slabbed in various high grades from ms63 onwards, happy to move any of them on for a fair price if anyone interested!
(fair price being slightly cheaper than any listed or sold on ebay) Yes I can do this, because I refuse to use ebay/paypal due to their exorbitant fee's...

Arrr. you are saib... Yes I did see it, but only after auction. I dare say, you would of paid more if I knew about the auction ;) Lovely coin and I admire your buying guts! The centenary florin is my favourite coin. I have seen an image of a MS67 from WA coins Set Registry but never seen it for sale. But I do own a specimen of the coin, which I wanted to get slabbed but don't feel comfortable sending it off.

OK, I got a question for those in the know about PCGS grading, How many points would be taken away for a coin strike like this.

Accurate-Grade?

If it is only going to make MS64 I'm not gonna bother getting it slabbed, well struck up & strong wreath but the coin strike does detract a little IMO.

Who did you use ? Or did you use an authorised dealer? I wish they could come here for a show or something. I would have nightmares sending off coins ...

Apple...

Nice coin, wreath and hand detail is excellent.

Judging from what I have seen...

I would think a coin like yours would come back MS64 or above.

I've not sent anything yet but I think a lot of people go through Eric Eigner, someone else may be able to tell you more.
