Was visiting Austin and just picked this up at McBrides. It's VF30 Details, but I don't consider it a corroded coin. It's a bit dark and a tiny bit of green by one ear, but I like it.

Now all I need to do is figure out how to fit the holder in my Dansco album!

BTW, is that much rotation typical for a modern coin? Does it add to the value?

Personally, I would have rather bought a G4 without any problems. The surfaces look very funky to me.

IMO, these kind of coins are no different from a hot potato. They seem to get quickly passed around until some poor soul is left "holding the bag" when they die. My recommendation, save your money up or buy a lower grade and always buy a problem-free coin.

It's a nice coin, OldSkoolMadSkilz, it's a nice price and, I like the rotation.

If you like it, that's all that matters. I have a 1908-S IHC that ANACS called corroded in the old small white holder. I don't see any corrosion either but, I like it ;-)

I rather like the look of that one. Got some character to it. And not too bad on the price.

Yes, the coin looks muck better in person than photographed. It has a nice dark relief and highlights on the features. The corrosion is only apparent under magnification.
