I cant seem to figure this out. When detecting (ACE 150) Ill be sweeping and pick up that high coin tone. Ill stop go back over the area and it will usually just be a dead iron tone. And sometimes ill pick up a deceent coin tone, dig it up, sweep the dug up dirt to find it, and it gives me another iron tone. Its kinda of frustrating and I would love to figure this thing out further.

Also, why do pull tabs ring as a coin when theyre over 4 or 6"? Also very frustrating.

Any tips or info I would appreciate greatly.

Would love to find my first silver piece before winter!

Can tabs always sound good. Aluminum is a MDers worst enemy. Swing over a target a few times before deciding if it is iron. Sometime you get mixed signals when something it is large. For example, a larger nail may give a "good" signal.
