I've been looking around for information on the votive coins of Constantine I. Ones like this:

Votive-Series-Of-Constantine-I

From the tidbits of info that I've glimpsed online, it appears that these were minted to celebrate Constantine's vincenalia, apparently a 20th Jubilee. Yet, the same sources claim they were struck in the early 320s (mine is 319 apparently), long before what would have been his 20th Jubilee. Perhaps they were starting the celebrations early?

Does anyone have info on these coins that they'd liek to share?

Thanks for the links, they're quite interesting. I'm more interested though, in the history surrounding the coins- why were they minted; was there a particular reason for choosing that design; to whom and for what were the vows taken etc?
