I'm unfamiliar with this series of coins, but this looks very mushy to me. Surely not worth faking?

I have some of these. They are only worth a couple dollars, so they are not worth faking at all. Looks right to me. Did you buy it from a credible source?

Yes, from a regular supplier. It's just that the obverse seems so soft and undefined, possibly because it appears to have been cleaned.
