aardspeed Pillar of the Community 921 Posts	Posted 10/18/2012 11:32 am as crazy as it is, this is on a smooth round rock my son & I picked up years ago! unsure what made me look at them, but I have over 10 pieces like it & I can see designs or writing on the rocks? I'm in North Western Ontario, Canada(I know my ID says I'm in the USA, but I do live minutes from the Canadian/USA border & frequent "RYDENS BORDER STORE" to pick up packages etc when needed) Anyways, we found these on a beach & I just liked the way they felt & looked... Suprised to see actual designs/lettering on them! Its way easier when inhand, I'm sure most of you know that, but I ordered a usb microscope & will investigate further with that & will take other pics with my Canon T3i/100mm macro lens for better pics...:) Report this Post to the Staff

My wife and I one came across a turtle trying to make its way across a busy road here in Thailand. Turtle rescued, taken to our place of work whence... our employees promptly turned it upside down, gave it a dosing of talcum powder and then tried to discern any Thai numbers in its markings/striations in an effort to help them win in the next national lottery! Turtle taken to a sanctuary and released (none the worse for the abuse) and nobody won. Report this Post to the Staff

aardspeed Pillar of the Community 921 Posts	Posted 10/21/2012 06:40 am OK, after a few hours of tracing the designs, I see ALOT! Near the bottom, you can see a boat that I didnt complete yet....There are numerous flowers through the scene & I'm pretty sure it says GATEWAY to the top right...You can see the word GATE. just never completed the other half that says WAY....
