hello, I was wondering if anyone has seen something like this before.
this is a solid silver (925) $20 dollar bill that has been made to exact specifications in both details and size. some of the details is plated in 24k gold.

the person who gave this to me said this was made by the person who actually makes the printing plates for the reserve to commemorate the new design but I have no clue if this is true or not (the person who gave this to me worked at the newyork mint)

here are some pictures of the note, just uploaded it to a image sharing website because of the size limit on this website.

hmm, this is a pretty heavy note (not exactly sure how heavy, but feels like 6 Eisenhower dollar or so)
but there's still have to be someone in the world who knows exactly who this is lol
thanks for the help BTTB :)

Welcome to CCF Branndailor!

I have a few questions:

How do you know for sure it is solid silver?

How do you know that it is 0.925 silver?

What is written in the top right corner of the back?

The'New York Mint' is a private company and not affiliated with the US Government. They don't show your item on their website, but you may want to contact them and ask if it is one of their items. They list similar $100 bills but they are different in appearance and clearly state the silver content.

1. not 100% on the solid silver thing, but the sides don't show any sign that it isn't solid silver.
2. the writing on the top right corner says so.
3. silver 925, 24k gold plating.

sorry for the late response was pretty busy with life lately.
the person who gave it to me work at the NYM but she didn't get it from the newyork mint itself. I will ask jane more about it once I get to talk to her but she already gave me that bit of info and said it was all she knew.
