I was wondering if anyone had a link to some wholesale prices, I have 78 different date and mintmark morgans out of the 95. Some are pcgs, ngc, anacs, with the rest in Coin World holders as graded by the dealer I bought them from, retail is just over $7,000.00. In general would wholesale price be a percentage of the retail, if so what.
TPG's do not note whether the coin is the bottom, middle, or top end of that particular grade. Also do not note whether the strike or luster is exceptional. ...and they do not note if a particular specimen is better than average for grade.
So, again, these are just a guide.
Are you looking to sell? If so, google the various online auctions and recent Heritage/ANA/Teletrade sites for recent auctions. Then, be honest when you look at your coin versus the one sold.
You'll have to get a subscription to Green Sheet (the certified coin version of Grey Sheet). Or if you are on good terms with a local dealer, he may have a older copy you could pick up.
I believe the blue sheet is the one that has the sight unseen prices for certified coins. The green sheet is the equivalent of the grey sheet but for currency. You could take a look at the the grey sheet and/or auctions prices minus the fees and commissions to get an approximation of wholesale.
