Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 11/07/2012 07:36 am judging by the way the coin looks in the picture I am going to guess there is no "red" left on the coin and would be given the brown designation by a TPG. Red would indicate color as struck from the mint with no darkening at all (basically has been in a perfect environment since it was minted) and RB indicates its more red than brown but does have spots that have turned. It looks like this coin is a solid brown color (even though it looks to be a redish brown) that a coin will turn when exposed to the elements Report this Post to the Staff

D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 11/07/2012 11:57 pm I think it is around a EF-40 but the surfaces do look light in color especially around the lettering and may or may not be original. There is a rim bump above OF. I would consider this coin brown. Report this Post to the Staff
