Picked up this Morgan today, If grading and the reverse is PL and the Obv is probably just MS, how would grading be on any slab this coin would be in? What grade does the forum members come up with?

If the reverse is PL and the obverse is not PL, the coin will not be given PL but if sent to NGC you may get a star. Both sides need to be at least PL, to get the PL designation. On this coin, the reverse does appear to be PL but whether the obverse is PL is questionable. It appears to be at least semi-PL. I will go with MS-63+ but it could very well be MS-64. Some of the primary focal areas are a bit dark and I am not completely sure how many marks there are and how distracting. The coin is a beauty!
Rest in Peace

Very nice! I think if you slabbed this coin it would come back MS64, only. But I've been wrong more than once. Good luck!

I think MS-63. The reverse is beautiful.

Awesome coin. I have a couple in the same boat where the obverse is holding it back from a PL designation. I'd say she's definitely a 63 with a shot at 64.
