Commems Collection Modern: 2029 Arnold Palmer Coins?

Back in 2023, during the 118th Congress, I posted about a potential three-coin commemorative program to honor Arnold Daniel Palmer in 2029 (the Centennial of his birth). See it here: 2029 Arnold Daniel Palmer - Possible? #07.

Palmer has been honored by the US Government previously. He received a Congressional Gold Medal in September 2012 (it was awarded by Congress in September 2009) in recognition of his service to the Nation in promoting excellence and good sportsmanship in golf. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2004 from President George W. Bush. (The Congressional Gold Medal and the Presidential Medal of Freedom are the two highest civilian honors awarded in the United States.)

Palmer died on September 25, 2016; he was 87.

The coin proposal did not emerge from the 118th Congress, and it has yet to be re-introduced in the 119th. But 2029 is still a few years off, and the year's two commemorative coin program slots have not yet been committed.
