I'm not sure why it's shown on the VAM35A listing but the rim Cud is actually VAM35B a later more desirable die stage. The old VAM33A listing has better details. Report this Post to the Staff

Then I saw something happening on the rim above the S in PLURIBUS so I looked again, and back, and back again. Nice VAM. Now I learned something new about 1904-O's. Report this Post to the Staff

aladinslamp Pillar of the Community United States 3076 Posts	Posted 12/12/2012 01:41 am you must remember, for the 35 A, its before the Cud...which entitles earlier die states than the Cud that entitles the 35B designation.... I have both examples...such examples show the begiining of the Cud.. starting to extend its Cud into the dentils,to the 35B where they are quite pronounced in the dentils...
