Sorry I know this has come up before but I would like to see the set up that anyone of you use to take pictures. Things like a picture of the lighting, the stand you use do you have a box with lights around it don't care if your set up looks good just need ideas.
After two years of looking, I've finally acquired the Testrite CS-3 copystand I've been hunting. So, I have to completely revamp my imaging setup. Be looking for it in the near future, along with sample pics.
I'm not sure if you need this but just in case here's a link on how to adjust the tint feature of your camera depending on the light bulb source. You'll see photo's of coins and it's there you will find the -/+ tint settings.
The bulbs are called 30 trumpet top. I picked them up at the same place I got the copystand. table top studio. Here is a link to the bulbs and you can navigate to other stuff on the site.http://store.tabletopstudio-store.c...htbulbs.html
As far as the lampshade its only purpose is to diffuse the light by shining the light on the side. The pic is taken thru the hole in the top. (the wire has been cut away) The camera never touches the lampshade so it will work no matter what holds the camera even your hand.
