I would like to have pictures of all of my coin albums; each page of the album; front and back. The reason for this is for security purposes and for a visual inventory. I am not going to purchase camera and equipment. I have a 35 MM camera somewhere around the house and works when I want to take a snap shot. So what do I do....take my albums to a photographer,,,or?
I use my flatbed scanner on a high res for all my pages. You can find some pretty inexpensive ones used on ebay or maybe a clearance one at an electronics store. Hope that helps
Agreed, if you're looking for just a record of your albums then a flatbed scanner will work nicely. Also if this is for insurance reasons then I also recommend you store every coin receipt with the photo's for the insurance company.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions and help. I like the flatbed scanner idea so much, that is what I will do. I will then be able to store and show you all my albums. Thanks again.
