secoinedchance Valued Member Canada 449 Posts	Posted 12/23/2012 07:26 am Hi everyone. Bought this a week or so ago with 50 cent piece. Despite my horrible photographic abilities, the 2 coins are very lustrous MS coins. The 50 cent has the really nice example of the die crack through GEORIVS VI D:G: REX ET IND and the quarter has something going on at about the 3:00 position. I have looked at this from every different angle, and in my opinion does not seem to be PMD. Wondering if anyone can tell me what it might be. 1945V Valued Member Canada 386 Posts	Posted 12/23/2012 07:34 am On the 1942 quarter, it looks definitely like a die break. On the 50 cent coin, it is hard to tell if it is PMD or a die issue. I know that this is a variety of that die break. It's the quarter that puzzles me. I've never seen anything like that before. Report this Post to the Staff
