It is a heavily worn and damaged common date with VG Details. Problem-free examples of this date in VG can be found for $250. I would not buy that coin unless it's for a song. Like $125. If it didn't have the dings I'd consider $250 a reasonable price. "Common date" when it comes to Seated dollars does not mean the coin is inexpensive. About 15 years ago I started looking for my first Seated dollar and was somewhat shocked to see the prices for problem-free coins in Fine started at about $200. Instead I bought a $10 gold piece for about $260 which seemed like a better value. Report this Post to the Staff
