Interesting coin of Claudius from the Alexandria mint Milne #90. I can't make out the year. In this condition value isn't going to be much, But I like the reverse.

I love it! But yeah, in this condition, with so many coins surviving and found in those regions, they just arent worth what they should be. But hey, id be willing to trade for it! Pity it isn't billon.

Claudius AE24 Diobol of Alexandria. Year 3 = 42-43 AD. TI KLAV KAI CEBAC GEPMA, laureate head right, * before / AVTOKPA above hippopotamus

Nice example.
The obverse is okay, the reverse detail of the Hippo is better.

Looking at the Text info, from the Wildwinds list, on the example that Ben pasted the info from, it sold for $52 in 2001.

There are not a lot of Alexandrian Roman coins around in the market, compared to Late Roman AE coins of European mints of which there are.
The ones that I was lucky to aquire came from an old collection.
In comparision, it is easy to aquire Late Roman AE coins of European mints, cheaply, since they are still being found here in western Europe, especially southern Britain.

Sorry BenbyField, I don't have the coin anymore. I would have traded it. Maybe we can trade some other coins some time.
