They are usually worth more as a collectible then the amount of raw ore that is in the quartz, I like them but don't have any, maybe someday I will get a chunk...
Eminently collectible. Monarch almost always one or more of those quartz/gold crystal type nuggets for sale. http://www.monarchpreciousmetals.co...rt&Itemid=53 The only things that've kept me from buying one are their lack of liquidity and the need to be a little more practical with the $1.5K-$2K those things generally cost.
If I every win one of those big lottery pots, filling a desk drawer with those quartz/gold nuggets is going to become a major priority for me.
