DoubleDie Valued Member United States 214 Posts	Posted 05/15/2007 5:12 pm Very tough to grade from the toning and the pics, not that the pics are bad. Coins are always easier to grade in hand. Anyway, I grade the coin AU58, but is a possible slider at MS60. I only say possible because the breast feathers look wear free, but this could be the light obscuring some details. asciibaron Valued Member United States 206 Posts	Posted 05/31/2007 08:23 am my first thought was AU-58, but that was before taking into consideration this is an odd year Walker. the odd years used the even year dies with new dates. what looks like wear on the coin is really wear on the die, or so I've been told. with that in mind, i'd say this is at minimum an MS-60, but no more than MS-63. after another hard look, it looks like the toning is most likely nicotine buildup - notice that the "toning" has been "cleaned" off the large open areas of the coin... -Steve Edited by asciibaron 05/31/2007 08:25 am Report this Post to the Staff
