Here are a couple I picked up for my darling, she really likes large cents and 2 cent coins. Thought I did ok on them, paid $22 for the 1827 and $14 for the 1835.
It will be fun to see how they compare in your grading. Jim
1827 - Variety N-4 - F12. There is some nice detail left on this coin and the profile appears to be clearly doubled. Nice coin.
1835 - Possibly Variety N-14. With the amount of wear, it's difficult to attribute from pics. There is a fair amount of wear and I would call this coin G4.
I would go VG+ on the 1827 for wear, however the rim nicks on the reverse bring it down to a net VG. The 1835 would be a VG also, but the scratch on the cheek make it a net G for my money. Still a good deal at the price you paid. Just out of curiosity, were they graded when you purchased them?
