Thought I did ok on them, paid $22 for the 1827 and $14 for the 1835. It will be fun to see how they compare in your grading. Jim Report this Post to the Staff

Susanlynn9 Forum Mom United States 5877 Posts	Posted 05/30/2007 2:08 pm 1827 - Variety N-4 - F12. There is some nice detail left on this coin and the profile appears to be clearly doubled. Nice coin. 1835 - Possibly Variety N-14. With the amount of wear, it's difficult to attribute from pics. There is a fair amount of wear and I would call this coin G4. Report this Post to the Staff

tmor Valued Member United States 159 Posts	Posted 06/01/2007 5:36 pm I would go VG+ on the 1827 for wear, however the rim nicks on the reverse bring it down to a net VG. The 1835 would be a VG also, but the scratch on the cheek make it a net G for my money. Still a good deal at the price you paid. Just out of curiosity, were they graded when you purchased them?
