I believe another poster had one of those to. I can't remember for sure but I think it was throwbackid. I'm sure the post is in here somewhere though because I know I have seen this style of bar before on this site.

Took me a few minutes but I knew I had seen that type of bar before.

Seen those on ebay they are way cool and have some history to them no doubt....

Also I have zero doubt they are indeed silver, it just has the right look....
