Ok...Are there any 2013 DD's found yet?and is there a site that has a listing of 2013DD's? Well I found this 2013 Lincoln.The letters in "LIBERTY" are very thick.Looks like maybe a DD? I compared my 2013 to other 2013's but none has the thickness on the letter's like the one I'm posting about. Thank you       |

Thanks DrDon...mine looks like the 2013P-1DO-001.Don't have time to look for the die markers.But I will check for them in the morning after work. :)

DrDon....I checked on "coppercoins".My coin looks like the
2013P-1DO-001.But I can not find any of the die markers.Used my USB microscope...still nothing.Could that just be an earlier stage ,before the cracks formed?

It certainly looks like a doubled die to me, but I am not convinced that it is die #1. From what I am seeing, I am guessing an unlisted die.

Can you get a better pic of the date? Die #1 shows a subtle extra thickness on the top of the 2. Do you see notching in the "Y"? The notching is more obvious than the extra thickness from what I have seen in die #1.

Willy...here is a pic of the date.Gonna try to make a better close up pic of the "Y"...Take me a few minutes..The clare of the coin is so strong .Its hard to get a good pic with the microscope..  |

I am undecided now on whether it is die#1. Before I was pretty confident that it wasn't but now I am not sure, it could be. I also don't know if the lack of the crack in the shield indicates an early die state. The one I found does have the crack, though I have no idea what die state it is. So I am of no help...lol...  |

Could this be a 2013P-1DO-001 without the die markers?or maybe a new DDO thats not listed yet?  |

Just because you do not have all the die markers doesn't mean it isn't 001. It could be an earlier die state that doesn't exhibit the cracks or chips as a LDS would have. I would think there would be some similar markings though. Maybe those markings aren't listed yet or maybe its a different DD.

Thanks guys  . Now ,any idea where I should submit it to? I almost think it is a new DD.I looked at the coin a hundert times ,still coulden't find a die crack.But I did find a very small chip on top of the shield .Here is a pic of the chip.  |
