coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/07/2015 3:02 pm That is from die wear. The dies wear on the devices toward the rim. You coin is a classic example of this. Note the heavy die flow also. Just a VLDS coin. The devices should be wider and rounded if it were hub doubling: Instead you have similar Die Deterioration like this 1992 cent: Note the devices on the right side show the deterioration on the right side. The devices on the left side of the coin show the deterioration to the left. (in both cases towards the closest rim) Report this Post to the Staff
