I would say AU-50 to 58, the coin is 80% silver. Here's a site with it...

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys !

I'm really confused with the grading, I see coins online graded MS65
that don't look near as good. also, mine is a lot brighter and silver looking than it does in the my photos.
Example -
http://www.moorecoins.com/1961-ICCS...to_i12928444

That coin looks far more scratched and worn than mine.
How is that "Gem" or MS65 condition ?
Doesn't make sense to me !

It's hard-- I've been at a year--every day and still know nothing-- just keep at it and test yourself with one series--say the silver dollar only.
I remember a NASCAR mechanic saying he was an expert at reading engine conditions by examining spark plug deposits-------it took about 5000 views before he was comfortable with his assessments.

I see a lot of doubling in the canoe area as well as the paddlers. So the strike is not strong.
Tell me that is not vertigas spots.
Still a AU coin.

All the Northern Lights are doubled-- as well as the legends on the reverse.
On the obverse----the face on the bust appears "grease struck "--very unclear eyelid.
I had a look at the Moor's coin--- and agree with your comments--I prefer your coin-- that Moor's is truly ugly--- Graders give:
40% for Surface preservation
20% for Strike
20% for Luster
20% for Appearance

I'm fairly new at this too, but what I'm doing, till I know better, it to grade it on wear(yours I'd say is AU50) and then grade it on overall appearance(I know it's really hard to get a good picture), but what I see is a VG8. Then meet in the middle and rate it as an XF40. For me, these less expensive coins will give you a lot of grey hair is you try to make it an absolute science in grading them.
Cheers
