First sighting of this blunder in 5 months.
Control + to enlarge "DEI'
observe bottom of I--check metal to the right.
The blunder also just pokes out at the top of the I--but it is in darkness.
What do you think?

Doesn't look like the one shown in Charlton's.
Looks like something may be happening there though.
A blown up photo taken through a slab,you'll have to buy the coin and get better pics before any conclusion can be reached IMO.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Yes --- I agree with you---Charlton shows a tiny metal piece on the left hand side of the bottom bar.
