1994 D Die Rotation Dime

Found this one today. I believe this dime is rotated about 85 to 90 degrees clockwise. The question I have is, can a coin be more than 180 degrees rotated? I mean , what if the torch was rotated counter clockwise and pointing east instead of west like this coin? Thanks

That's a better rotation than most MLB teams have. About what some of the players are worth. Nice find!

In my opinion, not really and here is why (again, my opinion)... I would only slab if authenticity was in doubt or if you were teetering on the fence of a grade that the value would tremendously increase. I don't think this warrants either scenario.

You do have a coin that there is not a very well defined value for (in my opinion). It could sell for $8, or $80 and everywhere in between depending if you catch the right buyer (these are not iron clad numbers, I am simply making a point). If you slab and it sells for $8, you paid to get rid of it. If you dont slab and it sells for $80, even more $ in your pocket. Too big a gamble in my opinion to slab this coin, and not really necessary as I dont think authenticity is going to come into question.

If you are not going to sell, simply stick it in a nice capsule or something well fit for storage. Maybe later down the road if you have a reason to slab you can do it then.
