These were pulled out of a cigarette machine about 30 years ago. The fronts all have lots of haze. I think they were taken out of someone's collection, maybe from one of those cardboard books where you push the coin in and only the front shows.

Would it be better to put them all in one question or make one question for each?
Rest in Peace

What did you want to know about them? If you just want some opinions on the haze covering them, then I suppose you could post photos of both in one thread.

Thank you :) There are 2 1961s and 5 1962s. I was looking for some grading help, especially to know if the haze would affect the grade and if it would be worth having it removed.

I didn't even think about them being proofs. That's too bad; they're severely impaired in this condition. However, that pretty much proves the theory that they came from someone's collection. There was a 1944 and 1955 found with them (not proofs).

Are there any varieties for these I should be looking for?

Thank you for the help.

isn't there a type 1 and type 2 reverse for Washington quarters? not sure if that applies to proofs or not but I'm pretty sure there are two types of reverse' on Washington quarters they all look like type 2 to me I think except maybe the first 61 you posted but its a bit blurry. that could be good but I'm not really sure but I think I remeber people like the type two better for some reason I forget why . Maybe you should look that up or keep asking till someone that knows for sure responds!
