Quote: The quality in my coins are very substandard To be fair to the Mint, the dies are recycled and have been sitting around for a couple of years in warehouse.

haha be fair to the mint that's funny
even though these are a no loss deal, wouldn't hurt the mint to actually try and make a decent product.......
Guess they are to busy designing huge amounts of recycled ideas and dealing with returns of faulty products.....I don't know about you guys but the mint has gone way down hill......

It's one thing to collect errors because their rare. Quite another when all the coins suck. I have some nice errors from the 2013 set and still haven't received the dollars so I can't be a judge yet but in general I would have to agree with your comment. Trying to please everyone to sell more at the cost of your reputation for superior quality is foolish at best. If I get an un-circulated set of dollars they shouldn't look like they visited twenty five Tim Horton's before they were packaged.

When I open my packaged, it was like I order a bunch of chocolate coins, the color is poor and they seem to have be used or put in a pocket change... Anyway, 15$ for 15$, I can grab a 6 pack of beer either with them...

I received my pack yesterday and it does not have a sticker :( Like everyone not impressed by the coin quality but I rarely have been in circulation packs I ordered (the first one I ordered was previous lucky loonie). I would prefer to pay a little more and have mark-free coins.

Quote: It's like I bought a shirt opened it and It was ripped. No. It's like buying a new shirt, with the tags already removed - the shirt is still new, and intact. Or buying a new car, with the plastic removed off the car seats... You bought mint state coins at face value - you can't even buy uncirculated rolls at the mint without paying tax.

Darn..I missed ordering some from the mint so I ordered 5 packs from C/A...I am not liking what I am reading here. Oh well, maybe they wont be too bad...stash them away . sounds like its going to be hard to find some good ones.

Thanks for the heads-up. Just fired off and email to my rep to see what he could grab for me. Missed these when they first came around earlier.
If they are as bad as everyone is saying I'll just cut them open and go drown my disappointment in a Tim's double-double.
