I picked up this 1979-P SBA$1 Wide Rim (Near Date) recently and wanted to see what the CCF members feel the grade should be. I placed another for a similar grade request for comparison

Thanking you in advance!

I have a couple of these myself from a roll I got at the bank in 1980. Both of yours are better than mine. Yours I'll guess MS65.

The upper SBA has a stronger strike on the eagles breast and legs. Hoping for a MS66+ on the crossover...or would it better to send it raw?

The bottom SBA was a Heritage Coin and is graded as PCGS MS67.

Top ones got a lot more hits than the bottom one.

Agree with 65 maybe 65+ from the reverse.

I have something like 14 SBA 1979 dollars, I'll post some for review tomorrow unless someone can tell me how I can post pics through an IPAD?

I received the result(s) back from PCGS and here is the TrueView image;

I figured that it would come back as MS66, hoped for a plus(+), but it is a step up from my 65.

I'd say 65, maybe 66. Also here is something I came up with a couple months back for situations just like this:

Nice results I think you've encouraged me to add mine to the list of coins I'm sending in next.
