While the obverse on this coin isn't that great and would probably only grade at fair, this coin has a nice reverse and was cheap.   AR Tetradrachm Ptolemy III Euergetes 246-222 BC 26mm x 13.66 grams Head of Ptolemy I right Eagle standing left on Thunder bolt sigma iota/iota eta in left field HA monogram in right field Regnal year 6 242-1 BC. Sidon mint Svoronos 1033

Ski we don't say ugly. We say with character.
I really want to get one of these yet I find them interesting. Sure the obverse could be better but if it is a price that you can beat it is awesome. The reverse is absolutely excellent.

i own several coin "with character"...the reverse is really nice actually...similar to the alexandrian ptolemy coins.

Same thing Chris, just minted in Sidon. I haven't had time to do much research on it yet but I guess they empire extended into that area.

I Think its a great coin Ski, full size, it's obv. is a little rough, the coin as a whole makes it great.i like it..
